JustinCASE started with a simple frustration I kept running into: why should one trip require so much stuff?

I’m John Closs, founder of JustinCASE. I’m a husband, dad of three daughters, traveler, lake guy, and someone who has always been on the go. Whether we were heading to the lake, a soccer tournament, the beach, or catching a flight, it always seemed to require multiple bags. Luggage for the trip. A backpack for our stuff. A cooler once we got there. And usually another bag for whatever didn’t fit.

I kept thinking there had to be a better way.

So I decided to build one.

My idea was simple: one great bag should be able to do more. It should travel like premium luggage, keep food and drinks cold like a serious cooler once we reach our destination, carry our everyday gear, and adapt to wherever the day’s activities take us.

That idea became JustinCASE.

But for me, this has always been about more than creating another bag. It’s about having less stuff to pack, less stuff to carry, and fewer things getting in the way of actually enjoying where you’re going.

Today, I get to see JustinCASE traveling through airports, riding on boats, sitting on beaches, heading to ballfields, and going places I never imagined when I started this journey in North Georgia.

And that’s really what I wanted to build from the beginning. A better way to travel, explore, and do more with less.
